As you can see from previous posts, I am still getting the occasional bit of creative writing inspiration. However, this inspiration for writing has taken a slightly different course at the moment.
I needed to keep my brain active and as my fiction writing mojo had disappeared somewhat, (together with my spelling- don't tell my mum she'll be turning in her grave!) So I decided to write articles for UKFibromyalgia magazine.

Because of my own experiences with Fibromyalgia I have set up a new blog,
In the winter I also get a lot of migraines... all of which might explain why I've not been on here much.
Blogging gives a chance to keep the brain active and to learn more about an illness or condition. Plus the sharing and community side of the interaction.
Nevertheless, I had forgotten that setting up and running a new blog isn't exactly a piece of cake. It may seem effortless, but is a lot of hard work.
I've also noticed that newer blogs have long posts these days instead of the shorter ones recommended a few years ago.
When people lurk without commenting, it can seem a lonely and isolating experience.
On the other hand building a loyal follower profile that comments and shares can be very supportive and healing.
I wondered, what do you all feel?
Also, do you prefer long or short blog posts? Thank you.
