  1. Hi Madeleine - congratulations to Jess .. I'm sure she'll be delighted.

It was interesting reading Robin's ideas .. I'm afraid I don't read MG or YA books .. though don't know if Lorna Doone fits the bill .. I bought that based on my recent posts! Cheers Hilary

  2. Bless you Hilary, that is a great suggestion. I don't believe I've read it though I saw a TV dramatisation, I think it was in 1980's.

  8. Congrats Jess!

For YA I recently finished the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan. I liked it. (So much so that I read all five books in less than ten days.)

  9. I love the cover & the title, so fun! Silhouettes are some of my fav cover staples.

    1. Thanks Leandra, it is lovely to see you here on my blog. Yes they are well done covers.

  10. What a great title, just so much fun!

  11. Started reading Jolly Foul Play. I realise another thing I enjoy is putting myself in the shoes of my younger self, as i would have loved reading these novels as a child. Well done Robin!
