Blessings to Sara and the person who nominated me for my gift. Very kind and thoughtful. Thank you :O)xx
Have any of you been on a writer's retreat for a week or weekend? Did you find it helpful?

The ramblings of aspiring author, Madeleine Sara, her dreams to become published and her trials and tribulations along the way. Plus other writerly nuggets of wisdom! Apologies for my typos, I get very cold hands with Raynauds and sometimes there's a persistent kittie on my lap, nudging my hand as I type.

I have never been on a Writer's Retreat, but would love to. I hear they are very helpful and so worthwhile. I am looking forward to attending my first Writer's Conference in October.
ReplyDeleteI've never been on one, but always wanted to go. A weekend with writers and time to write sound fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go on a retreat, Madeleine. There must be nothing better than to immerse yourself in the peace and connect with your writing without distraction. xx
ReplyDeleteI've not done an official organised one, but I use our van as a mobile writing retreat sometimes and get away from distractions for a while.
ReplyDeleteI think you've all voiced what I feel about them. It sounds idyllic especially in a lovely tranquil location. Thanks you Patsy, Joanna, Medeia and Anne for your replies.
ReplyDeleteAh but have you all seen Tamara Drew? ;O)

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. Wouldn't it be wonderful? I hope you do someday :O)
