Hi to all my lovely, supportive followers.
Just
as my mother returns to her nursing home after a 3 week stay in hospital
and my father is having a good week at his nursing home, we have more distressing news...
This is my poem, dedicated to my beautiful friend, Sharon Lucchesi
A rock, a gem! With much love
Your Loss Echoes Through A Silent Inbox by Madeleine Sara
My heart senses
Though my mind shuts down.
Good memories fade, as sleepless nights
with heavy thoughts invade.
A virtual silence. Inoperable;
too weak, too ill, to send.
My best friend and virtual mother, both
certainly must end.
Confirmation by envoy, then
the emotional tsunami.
A very moving poem, Madeleine.
ReplyDeleteBless you Suzanne, Thank you. I'm afraid our Internet router packed in and we were without a connection over the last few days. We are now up and running again.
DeleteMaddy, this is so sad on top of all the other stress. Deepest condolences at this time. Lovely tribute poem.

Bless you Denise,
DeleteYes it is rather. I guess they are all getting to that age where these things are inevitable, but it's still hard. x
Hi Madelaine - it doesn't just rain does it ... so sorry about Sharon and I hope you've had time to just be ... and not be too worried about your parents in their respective living places now .. such a difficult time - especially for the children ...
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts ... it is hard to take along with all the other things - Hilary
Bless you Hilary. Migraines add to the mix at the moment. My age I'm told...x
DeleteI am sorry for your loss. It seems like a hectic few weeks. I'm hoping this spring season brings love, light, support, and easier times.
