Here's a placatory virtual coffee for my lovely supporters...
Since feeling fired up to come back to blogging, work has taken a new direction, which is once again taking me away from blogging, I'm afraid.
However, for those who feel bereft, there's my short story in the post below.
I haven't visited many of your blogs yet as I want to do them justice and it's easy to race through giving everyone lip service and ending up missing some point. So I will wait til I have more time again...
Many thanks to those who have already commented and offered suggestions. It is much appreciated.

The ramblings of aspiring author, Madeleine Sara, her dreams to become published and her trials and tribulations along the way. Plus other writerly nuggets of wisdom! Apologies for my typos, I get very cold hands with Raynauds and sometimes there's a persistent kittie on my lap, nudging my hand as I type.

Sorry that previous comment of mine was for another Madeleine, LoL. It gets confusing when I have multiple blogs up with the same names and spellings!!
ReplyDeleteI did an initial read-through of your story, and wow! It's so good! I hope you submit it again.
Glad to see you back in blogosphere. Hope everything is okay now.
ReplyDeleteBless you Laura
ReplyDeleteAll is well here but extremely hectic
Rachna, bless you for stopping by and leaving your lovely comment
Hi Madeleine .. I couldn't find the link to read the story - maybe blogger is being troublesome, it's had its moments recently ..
ReplyDeleteSounds like life is busy - sometimes a good thing ... look after yourself
Cheers Hilary
Awwwww what short story?!? Where?!?!
ReplyDeleteNice to see your post up in the blogogsphere!! Yay!! take care
x
There always seems to be something taking our time from the things we'd like to be doing, doesn't there?
ReplyDeleteOn the upside, though, it's not being burned out on blogging that's keeping you away now! That is always a good sign. I hope to see you with more free time soon, selfishly, so that I can see you more around your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteThere never seems to be enough time, I'm finding lately. I have to rush through or postpone so many things just to keep up with the essentials. I'm sure it will change once the New Year comes. I am resolving to start writing in the early mornings before the world is awake, as I did in the summer. But it's going to be chilly at 4am!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with everything, Madeleine and I hope that you find some spare minutes to just relax and give yourself the luxury of some time to yourself. x
Joanne, Patsy, Old Kitty & Hilary thank you.
ReplyDeleteJoanne, I hope too that you get time to stop rushing and relax.
Hilary, it's the story in the previous post, which I believe you've read.
Bless you Trisha, that's so sweet!
I'm hobbling around with a stiff knee today, but for the first time in years I'm actually feeling excited about Christmas and the New Year! x
