'If I Could Be Anyone, I'd Be...' Party

Talli Roland has organised an online 'If I Could Be Anyone, I'd Be...' Party. Come dressed as that one person you've always admired, longed to impersonate, or just plain envied. Now is your chance to make your superhero, film-star, or Rock God fantasies come true (okay, maybe not all your fantasies...)

If you have a blog and you'd like to take part, all you need to do is post a photo of your chosen one (dead or alive) along with an explanation why you've picked that person.

Okay who did I always long with all my heart to be?
Someone beautiful, intelligent and able to do magic of course!
I was desperate to change my name to Samantha (though the name was considerably longer than my given name at the time which posed problems).
Later I imagined having a little girl called Tabitha.
Samantha as played by the lovely Elizabeth Montgomery

With magic, life would seem more manageable: the bullies, the complications at school, the difficulties at home all sorted with a little twitch of my nose. Perfect!

The rest of the time I expected to become a successfully published author

Who would did you long to be?

  1. Very cool post! If I choose any character, I'd choose Daisy Duke only cause I'd like to fit into those short shorts again. Lol

  2. I also always wanted to do magic :-) And I wanted to fly after I watched Peter Pan...

If I could be anyone I'd be...

  3. Hi Madeleine .. good choice and when I watched those programmes I too would want to be like Samantha! Now Peter Pan .. is another story ..

Excellent choice - fun - cheers Hilary

  4. Great choice. I wanted to be able to make people disappear when I was younger...

  5. Hi,

Fun choice: she was so cute! ;)

  6. That's a great post, and Tabitha is such a lovely name too.

  7. Awwwwwwwwww!! Love Samantha and her cute nose and witchery powers and her mum!! Yay!!!! Great great choice!! Take care

  8. Samantha's a great choice! Who wouldn't want magical powers?

  9. Fantastic choice! I want to be River Song from Doctor Who. Hello sweetie!

  10. Fantastic choice! Magic makes everything that much easier, doesn't it? I'd love to have a bit of that.

Thanks so much for taking part! I really appreciate it. :)

  11. I love Samantha. She's one of my favorite female charachers and Bewitched is one of my favorite shows. Great choice!

    Tossing It Out

  12. Magic and a published author - sounds like a great combination!
