Crossing before the train comes.
A dare's a dare, right?
So devil-may-care
He's setting you a challenge
Do you dare accept?
I'm going for broke.
On bended knee or cookie
On bended knee or cookie
How will I ask her?
Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. I am feeling much less foggy headed, which is great, though energy levels are still not 100%.
Gosh, Madeleine! This is a devil may care sort of episode. It frightens me to be faced with such choices!
ReplyDeleteHank
Glad to hear you're feeling better - these are great, so full of anticipation in so few words. I'm going to have to get back to Haiku!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely some devilish dares...great job!
ReplyDeleteHooray for Haikus! Those are quite good. :)
ReplyDeleteLike the darting before the train dare. A lot of tension in a short amount of words there.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better too. You know I have the same thyroid issues. Some days my energy levels just plummet.
Glad to hear you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteREminds me of the double dog dares of my youth.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you're feeling better! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat haikus--though they are a bit ominous!
some dares can be very dumb and turn out badly..
ReplyDeletegood dares! i take truth =)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better! And great haikus!
ReplyDeleteThese dares are usually ones young people or those with the energy of youth would pull off. The train track is my kind of image. That looks like a house to me at the end. Whatever it is, I love it!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS EVERYONE!
ReplyDeleteL G Smith - Bless you for your lovely comments. Interesting to hear you have thyroid problems too.
Golden Eagle - I've just added a lighter hearted one to redress the balance.
Hazel - I think it's a rather large train at the far end of the railway line.
Marvelous! I loved all three. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThat first one is a scary dare-devilry!! I would be chicken too!! I stay far away from any dare devil acts!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that last one with the ring coming out of the fortune cookie!
ReplyDeleteFinally a moment to sit and catch up!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better! It can really take you down, can't it? Seems the older I get the harder it is to bounce back. *sigh*
Great set of haiku!
I enjoyed each haiku!
