I can't decide whether I like the coffee or the wood one, better. Usually when you pen these, I have a definite favorite but between those two, I can't decide. :)
ReplyDeleteI've added a few more now :O)
ReplyDeleteCardboard smells and taste? Poor Gran. =[
ReplyDeletePoor Gran! Hopefully that will pass...?
ReplyDeleteI love the smell of coffee, but can't stand the taste of it :)
Great scent haikus!
Those coffee beans look amazing, a shame that coffee makes me cramp :o(
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this post! Haiku made fun! Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteCoffee wins. Every time :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. My Gran died in the 1980's. She never regained her sense of taste and smell. It's something we all take for granted so I wanted to add that aspect of the theme. :O)
ReplyDeleteI love the wood one!
ReplyDeleteCoffee has been my special friend even when I was very young. I must now go make some fresh rich coffee.
ReplyDeleteYou're so right, there is nothing like the real thing! I hope Gran recovers her sense of smell and taste soon!
ReplyDeleteI wrote about the scent of coffee as well
ReplyDeleteI love the smell of fresh sunday.
Artificial scents trigger my migraines
I love the coffee haiku. I am not a coffee drinker but I love the smell! :)
ReplyDeleteSo true about the artificial scents!
ReplyDeleteYour haikus are as good as your Limericks!

These haikus made me jealous (cause I cannot write them). Just like always, I loved the haikus, Madeleine.
ReplyDeleteLove the coffee one! Yum!
ReplyDeleteLove the haikus! Love the coffee one in particular. It makes me want a cup, even though I don't drink coffee.:)

Smell of fresh brewed coffee ~~ yum!!!
ReplyDeleteRachna, shame we can't write them together then you'd know you could, too.
ReplyDeleteBless you Story Queen.
Yes my poor Gran never recovered. It must have been horrid for her.
Sounds like the coffee one wins out LOL! ;O)
Love your haikus--especially the one about the shed. So creative! Great blog!
