A Great Story

Today I have decided to showcase another blogger: Milo James Fowler, from In medias res who has written a great short story that you can either listen to narrated or read for yourself.

Visiting Grandpa is never easy, especially when he gets a new hearing aid that receives a whole lot more than it should. You can  read "Grandpa's Bluetooth" here.

This was Milo's Write1Sub1 from week #6

Also check out this challenge:
Award winning Reads is co-sponsored by Ashley at Books From Bleh To Basically Amazing and Jacinda at The Reading Housewives. The challenge will run from Memorial Day to Labor Day- May 30th until September 5th and there are prizes.

  1. Thanks for the tip! Sounds like a fun story. :)

  2. I just read the story - and all I can say is WOW!! What a story!! I loved how it unfolded so beautifully - how it ended so neatly and yet so eerily. Poor Grandpa! Wonderful story. Thank you for the link, Madeleine! Take care

  3. Oh my, what a haunting story. A perfect example of how much can be shown with so few words. Thank you for linking that Madeleine.

  4. Thanks for the links. That challenge looks interesting.

  5. Wow, Madeleine -- thanks for the shout-out!

  6. I just stopped by to thank you for your fun contribution to this week's Limerick-Off! I hope you'll become a regular participant!

  7. Goodness, what a great story - both moving and chilling. Thank you for sharing this.
