  1. I especially enjoyed the journey section.
All in all a good post to start my day.

  2. Thank you for introducing me to the wonderful Matt Harvey!! I so understand about having such a short attention span that poetry seems a natural recourse to do! I wish him all the best with his many writing projects - especially the ones inspired by his children!

    Take care

  3. Hi Madeleine and Matt .. yea - I'm sure I saw you in your Wimbledon slot .. now I'll take more note. Loved this interview Madeleine .. and Matt great story you've got to tell .. long may it last - I'm sure it will do with your boys demanding more tales beyond the shed!!

    Cheers Hilary

  4. I think it's great advice to think of yourself as a reader first, a writer second. We all long to write but we need to be readers too! Good interview :)

  5. Awesome interview. Thank you, Madeleine and Matt.

Poetry is not really my thing, so don't put me into the draw.

  6. Enjoyed this meeting with Matt Harvey. Would love to try my hand at poetry.

There is an award for you on my blog.

  7. Brill interview - love to hear of people doing Performance Poetry. Will show this blog to a twit I met recently who informed me that poetry was only ever designed to be read to oneself, not out loud (I don't think he could've ever heard of Shakespeare!)
Will look out for Matt's work and well done Madeleine on the interview
