Memetastic Award

My thanks to Lynn for passing this award on to me.

In my research I noted that most recipients comment that they don't know what memetastic means, so I decided to find out and this is what I came up with:

A meme identifies ideas or beliefs that are transmitted from one person or group of people to another and is a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols or practices, which can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, speech, gestures, rituals or other imitable phenomena.
When you add ‘tastic’ to a word, it’s another way of saying 'fantastic’. So thank you Lynn.

RECIPIENTS SHOULD
1. Thank the person who gave the award
2. List 4 truths and one lie about myself (oops maths was never my strong point)
Then your followers must guess which is the lie by leaving comments below.
3. Pass the award on .

I'd like to pass this award on to: Liz at 8 bit words
Angela at My Poetry and Prose Place

Thank you for all your well wishes, my cold is on the mend, thankfully.

  2. Yay for your fab award!!

Oooh they all sound so true!! LOL!!! I'll opt for your hubby proposing in the car and not on bended knee as the fabrication!!! Only cos I'm a romantic kinda gal and hope that all marriage proposals were done one bended knee!!! :-) Take care

  6. Since part of the reason I chose you for this award was to find out more about my new fellow bloggers, I'm stumped to know which is the lie :-), but since it sounds rather disgusting to have squid for breakfast, I'll go with that one. Ooops and I think I forgot to pass on some of the rules of this award - if I have it right, you're were also supposed to post a picture of yourself blogging, but I could be dreaming...

  8. The balloon ride sounds amazing - I have no head for heights but I can imagine :D I bet the pea has to be the lie. Peas cannot hold out against the force of gravity - its reciprocal force would produce little more than pea juice and a little whine ;)
