Book Blurb Friday

Lisa from Writing in the Buff  is hosting a weekly fest posting a picture as a book cover.
The goal: Write a book jacket blurb (150 words or less) so enticing that potential readers would feel compelled to buy the book.

MY BLURB:
Rachel and Jake are being watched, but by what? The Eye is everywhere and yet no-one has seen it. They must escape before they, too, are brainwashed like so many of their friends and family. Finding Jeddiah is their only hope of saving the human race before it is too late.

Only 51 words I'm afraid.

  1. I'm intrigued! Who is Jeddiah and the eye? Do they know they are being watched? Creepy and dark, just how I like them.

  13. Yikes! It's a horrible feeling, knowing you're being watched - worse still to know you hold the fate of mankind in your hands!

  14. I would have loved to take it into a direction that involved intrigue or sci-fi but could not. I enjoyed reading your blurb.
