Monday Microfiction Time

Susan from
Stony River
sets a weekly
Challenge Picture each Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters, or even fewer.

Goodness I found this picture one of the hardest yet!

Tucson, Arizona where  a two inverts to a number seven. Only the die-hards shutter their windows in protest! (108 characters with spaces)

Talking of clocks, our visitors always laugh at how many clocks we have in our rooms. We have two in our kitchen, alone and several others dotted about:

How about you?

A time to make music fun!

hosted by Amanda at Bloggin With Amanda                     and Xmas Dolly

And now would you take the stairs or the escalator?

  4. Thank you Anthony
Bless you Old Kitty I love your enthusiasm!

Well, Lisa, I had to scrutinise the picture because I couldn't think of anything to write. It's more a caption than a microfiction I guess. :O)

  5. That's at least three posters who noticed the inverted "2" (and "9")
    Well done.

  11. I hope all your clocks keep the same time - every clock in every room of my house is on a different time...

  12. Ugh, that inverted two would drive me mental.

I love your selection of clocks! We only have one in the flat - in the kitchen. Hmm.

  13. Great job on the microfiction! You're so observant! I totally missed the inverted number 7 until you pointed it out.

I love clocks and watches. It's crazy.

As for stairs over escalators, I always picked the stairs even if they don't make music. ;-)

  20. It's funny about that "7", and we have several clocks as well-I like clocks but don't like time. Go figure, huh? LOL! Nice take.

  21. I had to go back to find the inverted 2! Well done! And, I need clocks everywhere because I'm always late, or nearly so.....

  24. Very good microfiction!

And your clocks are cool. I only have two...that doesn't count the stove and etc :)

  26. You made me think about our clocks all over our house. Since I'm in the bedroom right now, I counted the ones in here and if you count the blinking one on the DVD player, we have FIVE in this room alone... SHEESH!! In the kitchen, we have FOUR! Why are we so obsessed with time?????
I've seen that video with the "piano stairs" before, but had to watch the whole thing again because it was amazing... I love it. I really think it should be done all over the place. :)

  27. I found this one hard, too, because there were no people or other "characters" to trigger scenarios. I liked your take on it!

We also have 2 clocks in the kitchen--a digital one on the oven/range and an analogue one on the wall above the kitchen window.
