Susan from Stony River sets a weekly
Challenge Picture each Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters, or even fewer.
Goodness I found this picture one of the hardest yet!
Tucson, Arizona where a two inverts to a number seven. Only the die-hards shutter their windows in protest! (108 characters with spaces)
Talking of clocks, our visitors always laugh at how many clocks we have in our rooms. We have two in our kitchen, alone and several others dotted about:
How about you?
A time to make music fun!
hosted by Amanda at Bloggin With Amanda and Xmas Dolly
And now would you take the stairs or the escalator?

And I don't blame them.
ReplyDeleteNice one. Enjoyed that :-)
Oh I now I see the inverted 2!!!! I'd shut my window shutters in protest too!! LOL!! A wonderful microfiction twist!!
ReplyDeleteOh look at your clocks!!!! What a brilliant selection!!
I love this clip - I'd take the stairs and never leave! Take care
x
Omigosh! I never noticed that 7! Kudos for being so observant. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anthony
ReplyDeleteBless you Old Kitty I love your enthusiasm!
Well, Lisa, I had to scrutinise the picture because I couldn't think of anything to write. It's more a caption than a microfiction I guess. :O)
That's at least three posters who noticed the inverted "2" (and "9")
ReplyDeleteWell done.
Too funny they turned the 2 into a 7! :) Love your selection of clocks - we have tons of them, too.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your selection this week - I can never get tired of checking out that video! :)
Bless the Broken Road
Great microfiction & those stairs are brilliant
ReplyDeleteIt is an inverted 7, I never noticed.
ReplyDeleteLove all your clocks, I love clocks!
I sure don't know why i do, I'm often late!
Great stair music too.
I think all you lot who think a seven is a two, need to put your glasseson! LOL
ReplyDeleteLoved your whole post today. Got a kick out of looking at everything. :O)
ReplyDeleteI hope all your clocks keep the same time - every clock in every room of my house is on a different time...
ReplyDeleteUgh, that inverted two would drive me mental.
ReplyDeleteI love your selection of clocks! We only have one in the flat - in the kitchen. Hmm.
Great job on the microfiction! You're so observant! I totally missed the inverted number 7 until you pointed it out.
ReplyDeleteI love clocks and watches. It's crazy.
As for stairs over escalators, I always picked the stairs even if they don't make music. ;-)
Terrific MF for the day and you are observant! Hope you have a great week! Enjoy!

An awesome with the MM. I would never have spotted the inverted 7!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of clocks! Though now that I think of it, I have a lot too. :)
ReplyDeletexoxo, The BooKrushers.
My wife and I love clocks and have them all over the house. It's great having the clock on the computer screen as well.

Tossing It Out and the Blogging From A to Z April Challenge 2011
Great microfiction and those stairs are hilarious.
ReplyDeleteTerrific take on the picture!
ReplyDeleteI love your take on the 2/7. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome stairs!
It's funny about that "7", and we have several clocks as well-I like clocks but don't like time. Go figure, huh? LOL! Nice take.
ReplyDeleteI had to go back to find the inverted 2! Well done! And, I need clocks everywhere because I'm always late, or nearly so.....
ReplyDeleteBuahahahah! Love your MM!!

You really know how to follow the fun theory with that cat clock. Thanks for sharing such a great link. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd seriously spend all day on the stairs and never make it to work, haha!
ReplyDeleteVery good microfiction!
ReplyDeleteAnd your clocks are cool. I only have two...that doesn't count the stove and etc :)
Love the piano stairs.
Love it love it! You're keeping MM interesting thanks for thinking outside the box!
ReplyDeleteYou made me think about our clocks all over our house. Since I'm in the bedroom right now, I counted the ones in here and if you count the blinking one on the DVD player, we have FIVE in this room alone... SHEESH!! In the kitchen, we have FOUR! Why are we so obsessed with time?????
ReplyDeleteI've seen that video with the "piano stairs" before, but had to watch the whole thing again because it was amazing... I love it. I really think it should be done all over the place. :)
I found this one hard, too, because there were no people or other "characters" to trigger scenarios. I liked your take on it!
ReplyDeleteWe also have 2 clocks in the kitchen--a digital one on the oven/range and an analogue one on the wall above the kitchen window.
