The cobbler lozenge slipped from Fey’s fingers into the shoe. She’d heard about the Elves and the Shoemaker and planned to rewrite history. (140 characters with spaces)
Cinders knew the cobbler lozenge would resize the shoe and then she could marry the Fairy Prince. (97 characters with spaces)
I’m still feeling weak and washed out a lot and then I get a day when my energy seems to have returned only to feel wiped out again the next day. While I find I can do snippets on blogland I then have to lie down again as I feel so tired. It means I get very little done and feel frustrated. I am off to see the doctors again tomorrow, so fingers crossed.
Those are very cute stories :) Nice work!ReplyDelete
Nicely done. Enjoyed them both.ReplyDelete
Love them both, especially the second. Romantic! :)ReplyDelete
Let's hope her dreams come true. (And that you feel better soon. All good wishes)ReplyDelete
Should I say 'Cobblers!' to this one? LOLReplyDelete
P.S. Good luck with the doctors tomorrow...ReplyDelete
I'm so sorry to hear you're not well!! Please take it easy and good luck at the doctor's!!!!ReplyDelete
These stories are fab!!!! I especially like the second one!!! Even fairies have to resort to all sorts to get their soulmate!!! :-) Take care
Hope you are feeling better soon. I just found your blog through Susan's Micro Fiction. Your two posts are great. I signed on to follow you, please do the same for me. http://lindaoconnell.blogspot.com/ReplyDelete
Both of these are lovely - hope you feel better again very soon.ReplyDelete
So that was how she really got that shoe to fit... good one! :O)ReplyDelete
Great takes on the pic of the week! And I always wondered how she did it, too!!! I do hope you're feeling better soon! Holding good thoughts!ReplyDelete
Cool "take"! Lahzzinjgehe...lahhhzzzendahgehnzz... Lonzenge! There! I've got it! Lozennge is a hard word for me to say. I think it's the "z" and the "g". They shouldn't be together in one word. I'm just saying.ReplyDelete
I voted at last. Slap my wrist for taking so long!ReplyDelete
I really wish you were starting to feel better. Horrible, nasty viruses. I hope the doctor comes up with some helpful suggestions.
Nicly done, both were good.ReplyDelete
Have a nice week!
I hope you feel better soon.ReplyDelete
I like the first "story!"
I'm so sorry you're still feeling down!! Loved both, though!!ReplyDelete
I, too, thought immediately of the Shoemaker. It's one of my favourite sayings. But I really loved your "cobbler lozenge"! Not a mint, a lozenge. Fabulous!ReplyDelete
I love both of these stories!ReplyDelete
I hope you feel better soon!
Glad you're starting to feel better.ReplyDelete
Enjoyed both of your stories.
Good stories -- as cute as a fairy.ReplyDelete
So did the shoe get bigger or smaller??? Either way, hope the story had a happy ending...ReplyDelete
Have a great week. Cheers~
Oh my goodness-I hope you're feeling better!ReplyDelete
I enjoyed #1 the best...
Hope you feel better soon. Love your stories.ReplyDelete
Excellent. Think what would have happened if the wicked step-sisters got hold of that.ReplyDelete
Enjoyed the cobbler's lozenge in both stories! Hope you find your lozenge so you can feel better!ReplyDelete
I hope you feel better soon!ReplyDelete
I hope the doctor can find what's wrong and help you get your energy back! Very cute stories - at first I thought you said 140 words and then I realized it's 140 characters. You said a lot in those 140 characters!ReplyDelete
