Habits Haiku

So what are my habits? I like to have a latte in the morning.
I spend too long in front of the computer, neglecting the call of nature and my posture and eyes.
I often start projects and then get side tracked by something new.
How about you?

  1. Hi Madeleine .. love the Haikus you do .. and these three do a lot of summing up on life .. as for habits .. terrible .. similar to you .. but now that spring is springing .. I must release myself .. Life choices can be directed sensibly!! Cheers and have a great week .. Hilary

Nice Haiku's Madeleine, stimulating one to think harder!!

  3. My naughty habits are procrastination, inventing my writer's block and day dreaming the hours away! LOL!!

Great haikus!! Especially the rather snazzy robe one!! Take care

  6. HA! I was thinking about you walking around in a brown cloak. Your habits seem much more tame and less strange! ;)

  7. It isn't easy to write Haikus, yet you made it look so easy, like the words filled in a perfect puzzle. You're really talented, Madeline. The monk's Haiku is especially awesome!

  8. I don't know why, but the season one reminded me of my sister-in-laws multiple personalities. In a good way of course.

  9. Minus the Latte, we have the same bad habits ;) I had to put a lumbar pillow on my office chair to force me to sit up straight!

    Nicely done :)

As per usual, your Haikus are superb!
I was going to go to the 'Procrastination' workshop. Maybe next time :-)

  13. Cool habits Haiku's.

My habits; hit the sleep alarm too many times in the morning and kick start my adrenaline with a can of diet pepsi.

And Hades help the co-worker who thinks they can bring problems to me before 10a. Unless they come bearing red licorice, a cold can of Diet Pepsi, or a raspberry filled donut. Then I only snarl, not bite . .

  14. well, i think that habits look quite attractive :)

now i got it, i was a little surprised at the mention of nuns in the first post, then i remembered the meaning of habit.

your four haikus are as beautiful like four seasons, always, full of different tastes and beauty.

  15. Bless you all for your lovely comments about my haiku. I love writing them now. A couple of years ago I found them quite perplexing.
