Theme: Freestyle

The ramblings of aspiring author, Madeleine Sara, her dreams to become published and her trials and tribulations along the way. Plus other writerly nuggets of wisdom! Apologies for my typos, I get very cold hands with Raynauds and sometimes there's a persistent kittie on my lap, nudging my hand as I type.

You're not floundering at all!!
ReplyDeleteI love the bird haiku and the photo to go, that's quite some hairstyle!
Have a lovely day,
Jade
Lovely haiku, Madeleine. The bird piccie really makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteHope the antibios kick in asap, wishing you better.
I wish that I could write lovely haiku when I was sick! :-) Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm still in recovery myself--but at least I didn't have to endure medical students.
ReplyDeleteHope you get well soon.
I think freestyle is the way to go with poetry. Of course,I'm biased. I love stream of consciousness stuff.
ReplyDeletethe first one was super cute, that pic is too much. :)
ReplyDeletethe remaining two are fabulous as always. three splendid haikus in a bunch.

ReplyDeleteHi Madeleine
ReplyDeleteI do hope the antibiotics knock this thing on the head. it's no fun having the vavavoom knocked out of you!
Your Haiku made me smile - and I know what you mean about it being so much more difficult when you don't have a focus!
I slipped in one with the subject of freestyle. :)
:Dom
Love your haiku.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fellow crusader and follower. :)
How sweet of you to write a Haiku about my morning hairdo. lol
ReplyDeleteTake care and feel better soon.
My oldest had to do a big poetry assignment for school. I'll have to ask her if Haiku was a part of it.
ReplyDeleteI like the changes you've made on your blog, and is that a pic of you I see in the upper right? Or has it been there all this time and I'm just catching on?
Feel better soon. :)
Great verse. Loved them all. Hope you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from a fellow Crusader.
Dan
Good ones! Love the bird's 'do. Hope you feel better quickly!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Bless you all
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't count them as my best haiku, but they are such fun to write even when you're feeling ill, though a proper poem needs all my brain power, so I've not written one of those for a while.
What a great haiku Jazzbumpa. :O)
Love the haikus! Hope you're feeling better. Your advice from the workshop transcends all genres, I have some great little stories from overused subjects. I'd like to think I could publish those after a more original one, once my name is out there. I'd hate to waste a great story just because the subject has been done to death.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your haiku, Madeleine. Thanks for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteThat is the funniest bird!
