Theme: Elation
Exams are over
Graduated with honours
The world's my Oyster
Finally rescued
Brimming with such elation
Flushed with gratitude
Filled with elation
My efforts now recognised
Holding an Oscar
Holding an Oscar
Spring is in the air
My heart fills with elation
And second chances
My heart fills with elation
And second chances
Nice feeling~ elation, and you have captured the moments well in the 4 sets of Haiku's!!
ReplyDeleteOh excellent haiku Madeleine, you have certainly caught the occasions well. I especially liked the spring one, because although it is not one of those once in a lifetime feelings, I know exactly where you are coming from!

Wonderful haiku as always, Madeleine, I really love the last one, though - perfect.
ReplyDeleteSuch happy thoughts. And the perfect pictures to go along with them.
ReplyDeleteI especially like that last one. It touches our most basic desires. Another chance.

ReplyDeleteHi Madeleine,
ReplyDeleteYour Haikus are always lovely. A pleasure to visit your site.
May you have a most positive day.
In kindness and respect, Gary.
Great poems, the last one is the only one close to me.
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired my to try my hand at some haiku and tanka of my own - but they're "horrorku". I submitted them to Scifaikuest this week; we'll see how they fare.
ReplyDeleteI like the last one, too. Here in San Diego, it's really looking a lot like spring. =]
this is a brilliant selection of haikus for the prompt- which one will i say is the best? All of them!
