How was it for you?
BTW See post below
I have added a couple more showing phrases. I also amended the closing date, since yesterday my brain said today when it meant Friday.
The ramblings of aspiring author, Madeleine Sara, her dreams to become published and her trials and tribulations along the way. Plus other writerly nuggets of wisdom! Apologies for my typos, I get very cold hands with Raynauds and sometimes there's a persistent kittie on my lap, nudging my hand as I type.
Sorry to hear about the rejection letter :(ReplyDelete
But well done with polishing you short story :)
Boo hiss at R, and good luck with the send-off!
I'm waiting on reply to a partial, a full and a query. Not nuffink, yet. I'm braced for the worst, and if it's good news, then great! If not, there's always another day another manuscript. ;)
Good luck with the short story - I hope it finds a home.ReplyDelete
Best of luck with the short story. The rejection? - their loss. Have a great weekend.ReplyDelete
You've done amazing to submit another short story! I hope it finds a home.ReplyDelete
Other than the 100-word sentence I haven't done anything yet. Time seems to be going at double-speed at the moment and also, I seem to be back to blogging more than writing again. Agh!
Yay that you finished your story!! That's brilliant!!!!ReplyDelete
PC problems are not fun at all! :-(
I'm sorry about the rejection letter. I hope all your stories find homes soon!! Take care
Good job meeting your goals.ReplyDelete
Sorry about the rejection letter! But good job on finishing your short story. My week hasn't been as hectic as previous weeks (no one in my house is sick...okay a little bit of pink eye for my daughter who got it from a friend...but no projectile vomiting in the middle of the night, which I'm happy abou). The only thing I'm disappointed in, is I didn't get any furhter on revisions this week. But I have a good excuse: I read Across the Universe this week!ReplyDelete
Good luck with your short story!ReplyDelete
I'm sorry to hear about the rejection letter! But it's one closer to publication. :)
I am so awesomely impressed with the Write 1 Sub 1 idea and all doing it! Sorry to hear about the rejection (boo! hiss!) but well done with your edit, and good luck with it!ReplyDelete
Well done you for another successful wri1sub1 week!ReplyDelete
I am failing at the Wri1Sub1 this week. I have a poem to send off, but haven't found the right place to send it to! My time has also been diverted to my collaborative ePocalypse story. I'll try and sort something tomorrow.
I'm sorry about the rejection letter :( But, you managed to get another short in this week. That amazes me. I can't imagine doing that!ReplyDelete
And you're right; it's been a WEEK!
Hope your weekend gets a lot better!
