By the Skin of my Teeth

I just managed to get my 2,200 word short story manuscript edited and polished for posting this week.

It's been a busy and eventful week with computer problems and demanding stuff, plus one rejection letter flopping onto the door mat.

How was it for you?

BTW See post below
I have added a couple more showing phrases. I also amended the closing date, since yesterday my brain said today when it meant Friday.

  2. Hi,

Boo hiss at R, and good luck with the send-off!

I'm waiting on reply to a partial, a full and a query. Not nuffink, yet. I'm braced for the worst, and if it's good news, then great! If not, there's always another day another manuscript. ;)

  4. Best of luck with the short story. The rejection? - their loss. Have a great weekend.

  5. You've done amazing to submit another short story! I hope it finds a home.

Other than the 100-word sentence I haven't done anything yet. Time seems to be going at double-speed at the moment and also, I seem to be back to blogging more than writing again. Agh!

  8. Sorry about the rejection letter! But good job on finishing your short story. My week hasn't been as hectic as previous weeks (no one in my house is sick...okay a little bit of pink eye for my daughter who got it from a friend...but no projectile vomiting in the middle of the night, which I'm happy abou). The only thing I'm disappointed in, is I didn't get any furhter on revisions this week. But I have a good excuse: I read Across the Universe this week!

  11. Well done you for another successful wri1sub1 week!
I am failing at the Wri1Sub1 this week. I have a poem to send off, but haven't found the right place to send it to! My time has also been diverted to my collaborative ePocalypse story. I'll try and sort something tomorrow.
