Musical Micro Pigeons

Susan from Stony River sets a weekly
Challenge Picture each Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters, or even fewer.

On Brighton Beach the pigeons were discussing guano bombing raid tactics from as far back at the 1940's.  (104 characters with spaces)

or

"I Tourist here" said the visiting pigeon.
"Look see mate, I no can do Pidgin English." said his friend.

My DH and I were singing that same Band Aid in the car the other night and my girls thought we made up the song. LOL Um....no....Then, it came on the radio on Christmas Day and they finally believed us.

  24. I was once a victim of one of those successful bombings and it was such a spectacular hit (I was in my kitchen whites and too "unclean" to return to work), that I've no doubt my story lives on in pigeon folklore.

Speak pideon no prob fo me, sista. I stay Hawaii t'ree year.

  25. I think your captions for the photo are adorable, the first one better than the second.
I love anything that includes Sesame Street or the Muppets.
The Feed the World song brought back memories and tears (can you believe the hair, too). I can't believe how long ago that was and how appropriate it still is for Africa and many other parts of the world. Thank you for reminding us.
Looking forward to your selections next year. HUGS and happy new year to your family!
