Blogfest hosted by Ellie Garratt
Sorry Ellie I couldn't think of ten.
- Martin Clues in ‘Master & Commander’ as Captain Jack Aubrey
Because he seems to embody the no nonsense sometimes clownish persona.
2. When I was a school kid I always wanted Derek Griffiths to be a ‘Dr. Who’ reincarnation because he seemed a lovely, dynamic and funny personality.
3. or Richard E Grant who has the intensity and wackiness of the character.
4. Sense and Sensibility. I loved the Emma Thompson adaptation, but preferred Hattie Morahan as Elinor and Dan Stevens as Edward Ferrars and Dominic Cooper as Willoughby.
5. For my own WIP Cate Blanchett to play Ginny as she could give her a powerful edge and James Denton as Bernard because he is the strong yet kind type and Julia Roberts as Caroline because she is strong and caring.

Richard E Grant! Whatever happened to him?
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Richard E Grant film is Withnail and I - a classic.
ReplyDeleteA great list (your forgiven for not doing ten!). I love the way you've cast your novel. Which WIP would they be starring in? We need to know more!
Thanks for taking part x
Hi Alex, yes I wonder.
ReplyDeleteThis post has corrupted and won't let me edit it, so I'll say here that my WIP is called 'Once Forgotten' and you can see the opening here: http://scribbleandedit.blogspot.com/2010/10/first-page-blog-fest.html
Boo! I hope it gets resolved soon. Having some Blogger issues this morning myself. Hope to read the rest soon!
ReplyDeleteFrom what I hear, they have made it possible for their to be an infinite number of Doctor regenerations, so maybe you will get your wish.
ReplyDeleteI was good all the way through until Julia Roberts.
ReplyDeleteHi Colene, it's all I had anyway, I couldn't think of any more.
ReplyDeleteHi Budd Yes there was originally only meant to be 10 regenerations I think.
