Are you a Microfiction Writer?
It's certainly good practice for putting what you want to say as succinctly as possible.
A great editing exercise.

I wonder what comes to mind for you when you see this week's image? And whether it is very different from mine:
Mushroom eating Jas was having a strange cartoon character moment. The stupid hat and poncho were one thing, but waders! (121 characters with spaces)

lol your microfiction is awesome. It gave me a laugh. I don't think I'd be able to match that. :)
ReplyDeleteVery good - my husband thought they were waders too! I went for a slightly different theme.
ReplyDeleteLOL. Waders and mushroom eating! You have such a vivid imagination.
ReplyDeleteI didn't really notice them waders until you mention it, I thought they were part of his pants lol
ReplyDeleteThat is SUCH a Man@C&A pose. Great entry!
ReplyDeleteBoth are very funny! I love the "cartoon character" moment. LOL
ReplyDeleteHaha! These are great!
ReplyDeleteLOL. I love your microfiction!
ReplyDeleteha ha I like #2 best hang in there and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteC & A = camera and actionman, then? LOL :)
ReplyDeleteIt's fun how everyone notices different things about these pictures. Thanks for all your lovely comments. :O)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Monday morning laugh. I'm not quite up to writing microfiction. I have a hard enough time trying to limit my twitter updates to 140 characters or less!
ReplyDeleteYou sure gave me a laugh with my coffee!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I love this, very funny! And I like the micro fiction exercise, its definitely on my to do list. ;)
ReplyDeleteVery funny, Madeleine. I love that exercise.
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Much more creative than me. I kept coming up with visions of Clint Eastwood looking for his gun.
ReplyDeleteA couple of very good ones, and funny, too. Super!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for visiting my blog and commenting. Visitors who comment are always appreciated.

Hi Madeleine,
ReplyDeleteAfter a stressful day your microfiction cheered me up no end, particularly the C&A bit, he does look rather like a shop window dummy now I come to look at it!!
Yvonne
Mushroom eating---Now that's a totally new take on the picture---hilarious! And the guy does look like he's posing for a picture. Well done, Madeleine!
ReplyDeleteLove the second one - C&A man pose indeed! Haha! Brilliant - thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSo funny! Love the waders reference.
ReplyDeleteLOL...both were good but I loved the second one...how on earth will that poor actor get home now???
ReplyDeleteHave a great week. Cheers!
Am I going to be sorry if I ask what a C&A man pose is? Maybe Jinksy is right...

MT - C&A are a clothing outlet and their models always posed in a distinctive 1980's way.(They had stores in the UK but now they seem only to sell online) :O)
