  1. I'm in awe and a little jealous (in a nice way)of Annie and Meg. It most be wonderful to have someone to feed off and check ideas with. I also found the comments about using the first person POV in Famous Last Words helpful. My WIP in progess is in that viewpoint and I keep having to remind myself to make the two characters voices different.

    Thank you for the interview!

  4. Each author's natural voice is distinct, it seems to me, unless deliberately copying the voice of another author. I wonder whether Annie and Meg have each moved towards a common voice, or whether one tends to copy the voice of the other?
I think I would find it very hard to write collaboratively, so kudos to Annie and Meg!

  6. I remember being amazed and impressed when I discovered that Annie Sanders was in fact two people!

I can't imagine being able to write with another person, but how wonderful to double up on the creativity.

I'll be putting Gap Year for Grown Ups on my Christmas wish list :o)

  8. Yes I wish I had a writing buddy to bounce ideas off (even though Annie & Meg warn that such partnerships usually fail).

Glad you like the layout. Thanks soo much. It takes a bit of work when I should be writing my novel.:O)

  13. Great interview, I enjoyed reading. It would be so hard to write in partnership, so kudos to Annie and Meg for doing so. I love reading about people who work so closely together to write :)

  17. So awesome! I've been writing a YA book that alternates between 2 characters sharing their 1st person POV. How much more fun to do it with a friend, then try to ensure your voice is different with each character. I added The Gap Year For Grown Ups to my reading list. :)

  19. Thanks Jenn, yes I'm so jealous of them :O)

Michael I was just thinking about your comment regarding your mum being a Rose Marie when you left this comment here!

I'm now wondering whether when these ladies are at a book signing, Annie signs Annie and Meg signs Sanders after it? LOL!
