Medieval Micro Fiction Monday

Susan from Stony River set us another great
picture for this Monday's Microfiction Challenge
"Where a picture paints 140 characters, or even fewer."


Eve wished she had more than 2 loaves and a jug of mead to sustain her until she finished the cataloguing of King Arthur’s library. (131 characters with spaces)

Well they looked like books he was carrying to me LOL!

An alternative viewpoint
Haiku:
Red flowing tresses
The maiden awaits her fate
A prisoner now.

    You are obviously an optimist! And I'm not sure I'd cry too much about being locked away with a stack of books, so I guess her boss is doing her a favor. Good one!

    I much prefer you take that there are books there instead of bricks. Being walled up with hundreds of books might not be so bad! :)

    I agree with you--books would be much better than bricks...I hope the princess finishes her task quickly, though, and doesn't drink all the mead first!
