TV Blog Fest

It’s today! Time to share MY ten favourite TV programmes, old and new. Please visit others who have signed up for the blogfest. I bet you find a TV treasure you’d long since forgotten about or something new to find out about…

Some great writing with humour, drama and humanity and sometimes a little love!

Counting down from 10 to 0:Star Trek Generations, Bewitched, Ballykissangel, Takin' Over the Asylym, Sleepers, Cold Feet, Desperate Housewives, The Missing Postman, Poldark, Rotter's Club,  See You Friday
Of course, I should also have added Preston Front, Onedin Line, Porridge, Red Dwarf, Flambards, Only Fools & Horses and The New Adventures of Superman
(with Dean Cain & Terri Hatcher)

  2. I've just started watching Desperate Housewives and it's very good. Some of the shows on your list I don't know, like Rotter's Club. I'll have to google!

  4. I can't believe how many Trekkies there are in the blog world! It's been fun seeing what everyone has on their list! Bewitched was a classic. I used to watch reruns of that with I Dream of Jeanie. Loved those shows!

  15. Cousin, I'm counting 11 pictures. So that makes it your top 11? lol you probably wish that you hadn't given me your blog site. :o) Elizabeth Montgomery was hot on Bewitched. I remember a scene in the original Star Trek that scared me because I was only a few years old. That's the black and white one's with William Shatner, a proud Canadian by the way.

  16. Yes that's true Cuz, but then the organiser of this fest also had 10 to 0 which makes 11 so I followed his lead and then added a few on the bottom that didn't quite make the list LOL!
Great you joined my blog. Good to see you here, another proud Canadian. :O)

  17. My favourite shows here in Canada are; "Fringe" a sci-fi directed by J. Abrams who did the latest remake of Star Trek. "Dexter", a serial killer with a heart. "Battle of the Blades", a mixing of retired NHL hockey players and figure skating's top women skaters. CBC produced. "Survivor" and anything David Suzuki. Like "The Nature of Things", educational shows on nature and science. Well that's 4 out of 10.
