August Goals

Has anyone made any goals for August in terms of their writing?

My goals are to continue not to spread myself as thinly as I have been, while I concentrate on getting through the next few months with family stuff and then there will be time to return to writing and blogging properly in due course.

Until then, I read, knit, crochet and visit my ailing parents.

  1. Sorry to hear your parents are struggling. Focus on them. Blogging and writing can wait.

    1. Bless you thanks Alex. It's been even tougher with dad in hosiptal unable to speak or do anything for himself.

  3. Spreading oneself thin has always been a challenge for me as well. I say "yes" then wonder later how I created such a mess for myself.

Just echoing what Stephanie and Alex said--you and your parents are in my prayers.

    1. Bless you, thanks. Yes it is easy to forget the myriad of other commitments and then you suddenly feel swamped...
Dad still in hospital, but making slow progress.

  5. I think my goal consists of staying alive. How's that for a writing goal? ;)

  6. Enjoy your time with your family. Blogging can wait. My August is a busy one with my mom visiting and my son starting his final year in preschool. But hopefully that means September will come in with a good routine and solid writing time.
