Health Haiku

This week's theme: HEALTH

http://www.youknowthatblog.com/

Taken for granted
We all appreciate health
When taken away

Natural balance
Elements to healthy life
Mind, body, spirit

If you prefer Limericks, then why not hop over to Madeleine Begun Kane's Blog

Here's mine for her challenge:

A fellow who loved fine cuisine
Thought barbecues rather obsence
When approached by an Aussie
In a polka-dot cozzie
He quickly escaped from the scene

Hehe. I loved your limerick!

When I saw your post title, it immediately occurred to me how relevant the theme for today's Haiku is to you. Big hugs.

Am chuckling at your limerick!

Great Haiku - so much truth in the first and calm serenity in the second.

I have to be extra careful too. Being sixty, having multiple health problems and no health insurance had me get on my guard. Si far I am handling things on my own pretty nicely. I think that it is determination.

Why did I picture the Aussie in the polka dot cossie as a bloke? I scare myself sometimes.
