Alistair, many thanks for these enlightening answers. As an author who aims to be published some day soon it's great to hear words of wisdom from someone who is.

Great idea Madeleine, well done!

I have to be honest, Madeline, most times when I read author interviews I get bored less than halfway through. Not this time. These were really well chosen questions...and it helped that Alistair is pretty good with the answers too.

Great interview!!

Massive thanks to Al for answering all our questions and illuminating the writing/publishing world. I feel the same way when it comes to chapters and length - I end and start a chapter where it 'feels' right, and don't like them to be overly long.

Madeleine - I loved the way you presented the question and answers!

Thanks for answering my question. I've already been asked a few times myself which is why I asked. Perhaps I'd better come up with an answer.
