I'm still in recovery myself--but at least I didn't have to endure medical students.

Hope you get well soon.

I think freestyle is the way to go with poetry. Of course,I'm biased. I love stream of consciousness stuff.

Hi Madeleine

I do hope the antibiotics knock this thing on the head. it's no fun having the vavavoom knocked out of you!

Your Haiku made me smile - and I know what you mean about it being so much more difficult when you don't have a focus!

I slipped in one with the subject of freestyle. :)

My oldest had to do a big poetry assignment for school. I'll have to ask her if Haiku was a part of it.

I like the changes you've made on your blog, and is that a pic of you I see in the upper right? Or has it been there all this time and I'm just catching on?

Feel better soon. :)

Good ones! Love the bird's 'do. Hope you feel better quickly!

LOL! Bless you all
I wouldn't count them as my best haiku, but they are such fun to write even when you're feeling ill, though a proper poem needs all my brain power, so I've not written one of those for a while.

What a great haiku Jazzbumpa. :O)

Love the haikus! Hope you're feeling better. Your advice from the workshop transcends all genres, I have some great little stories from overused subjects. I'd like to think I could publish those after a more original one, once my name is out there. I'd hate to waste a great story just because the subject has been done to death.
