This week's theme: Transition

From child to adult
Desperate for validation
A steep learning curve
A change of gender
It's potentially painful
For mind and body
Transforming seasons
Autumn, winter, spring, summer

Transitions of life

Transitional words
Provide continuity
For budding writers

Great Transitions expressed in the collection of Haiku's. The child to adulthood is a good example of the learning curve and conversion into a better state.

Interesting subject matter. I always marvel at those who can create a haiku that makes sense.

Hmm, the "desperate for validation" definitely made me think. As a preschool teacher, I see this all the time (kids from teachers, kids from kids, etc.), but it really is equally important to adults, isn't it? Thanks for that.

(hope to see your "mug" during our blogfest tomorrow!)
